• Rabbits need clean, fresh water daily.

    • Water dishes should be washed out thoroughly every week.

    • You can use water dishes(crocks) or bottles.

    • Crocks must be sturdy enough to not be dumped.

    • The water bottle is more sanitary, but freezes and cracks.

    • When it is hot outside, the rabbit will have difficulty receiving enough water it needs through the water bottle.

    • I recommend rubber bowls. (You can purchase at Mills Fleet Farm.) They can be froze and the ice broke out of them, without breaking the dish.

    • When water freezes, you will want to place a dish of snow in the cage for the rabbit to eat for moisture. You still must give the rabbit water at least once a day; even with the snow.

    • Keep water containers clean or bacteria will grow in them.
